Broome Bounty, a program run by Broome County Council of Churches recovers food from area businesses and institutions for distribution to 50 area agencies and meal programs.
Montgomery Senior Center offers meals daily (M-F), and offers social, educational and health programs to residents over the age over age 60.
Transportation is available.
Senior Dining Site - 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at NOON. (Closed Summers)
PEACE, Inc.’s food service program prepares nutritious lunches for seniors at many sites throughout Onondaga County. Meals feature grilled entrees, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Suggested contribution – $2.75*
Guest meals – $5.00
*Any contribution is gratefully accepted; no client is turned away due to an inability or unwillingness to contribute.

COVID-19 time period Quick Start Meals-normal guidelines for meal eligibility waived for those 60 years of age having difficulty obtaining food during COVID-19. Meals are temporary. Hot meals received by those in certain geographic areas. Frozen meals received by those in certain geographic areas.
Delivers a mid-day meal daily, Monday through Friday, to Islip Town residents who are 60 years and over and are unable to prepare meals and have no one to assist them. In-home evaluation process for participation is necessary. Call for volunteer opportunities. (631)224-5540
Food pantry for the residents of the Town of Colesville. Open 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM to noon and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Clients may be served once a month with proof of residence and ID for each member of the household. Seniors or disabled individuals who would be unable to pack food themselves may call 607-693-1228 the night before they come to the pantry to have food packed for pickup.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton and Western Broome run the Summer Food Program, which distributes food to youth over the summer when school meals are not available.
