The Salvation Army's Family Store provides good used clothing and small household goods at low cost. Second location at 311 Harrison Avenue in Endicott.
Substandard conditions in homes are improved with an emphasis on emergency, health, and safety concerns that affect the living conditions of the low-income homeowner. New York State awarded Tioga Opportunities the Affordable Housing Grant. Must be a Tioga County resident, single family home with the deed in your name, and fall within the income guidelines. Application is needed. Contact Housing services or Tioga Opportunities, Inc. website.

2nd Chances is a nonprofit organization that works alongside the Chautauqua County Humane Society in an attempt to increase revenues to combat the rising costs associated with caring for the animals at the shelter. All items and money donated benefit the animals at the shelter. Has inexpensive clothing, furniture, and other household goods and small appliances for sale.
Vestal Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church runs a clothing bank. Provides good used clothing at no cost to those in need. Closed June and July.
The downtown thrift store sells used clothing and other items at relatively low prices.
