Overseen by Broome County parks and Recreation, Otsiningo Park offers bicycle and pedestrian paths combined with picnic areas and athletic fields.
This program is a line dance program for individuals who are 12 and older, have a developmental disability, and are OPWDD eligible. It occurs a few Saturdays a month and is taught by Patti Putt, an experienced dance teacher with 25+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

AFTD offers modest financial assistance for people with FTD and caregivers interested in attending an FTD education conference. Comstock Travel Grants may be used to defray the cost of travel, lodging, and conference fees in order to attend.
The Broome County Urban League (BCUL) runs a technology center where free or inexpensive computer classes are taught. Learn Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Windows, Online Basics, Keyboarding, or take an Introduction to Computers class. A free open lab is available to anyone who needs a computer.
AARP in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome offers AARP Driver Safety classes to drivers age 50 and older which results in a discount on car insurance.
The Binghamton Figure Skating Club (BFSC) holds lessons and the club meets at the SUNY Broome Ice Center. Available so people of all ages can learn how to skate.
Happiness House offers in-depth school age services to help ensure that developmentally disabled children and young adults have ample opportunities to achieve their goals.
Therapeutic Services
Clinical services available to school-aged individuals include occupational, physical, aquatic, psychological, and speech and language therapy.
Recreational Services
Services include summer day camp, weekend recreational program, and the Teens and Tweens social club. Summer camp and the recreational program are available to children who are enrolled in the HCBS Waiver. Teens and Tweens requires OPWDD eligibility but Waiver enrollment is not necessary.
Residential Programs
Happiness House manages a residential home for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities.
Support Services
Services include community habilitation, family reimbursement and respite services for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities.
Service Coordination
Our services assist families with accessing medical, social and educational services that are necessary for their child's wellbeing.
The Roberson Museum and Science Center offers classes for adults/children in drawing, painting, ceramics, computer design, and photography. Programs available in astronomy and other scientific pursuits. Facilities include: Roberson Mansion, Edwin A Link Gallery, Heritage Area Visitor Center, Planetarium, exhibit galleries, Kopernick Observatory. Exhibitions vary, call for more information.
The Chenango Valley State Park provides public recreational facilities/activities: Camping, beach swimming, picnic areas, 3 covered pavilions with 800-person capacity (by reservation), and cross-country ski areas. Summer activities include nature walks and miscellaneous programs.
Free program that offers social companionship, meaningful activities and active engagement in a safe space so care partners have an opportunity to socialize and tend to their own healthcare needs. This program meets ponce monthly - Second Wednesday of the month - from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Westfield Untited Methodist Church, 101 E Main Street in Westfield, NY.
