Recruits anyone interested in being a camp counselors for 1 week in August for the annual MDA summer camp. Recruits volunteers for the Labor Day Weekend Telethon pledge drive, the MDA Stride and Ride, Legal Leaders and Corporate Sponsorship events. Handicap Accessible

Broome DDSO provides adult day services and supervised residential care for eligible persons of any age. Volunteers are welcome to help with these programs.
Community Angel Action is funded by donations from the Community and consists of many community volunteers dedicated to assisting, and bringing hope and comfort, to all people experiencing unfortunate circumstances.
A program where they train parents or individuals what they should be observing and make placements with the help of Westchester County's Office for the Developmentally Disabled. Once in the placements, volunteers are another set of eyes to overlook the care and programming that children with developmental disabilities are receiving. Volunteers are given placements near their homes. The volunteers are asked to make visits at least once a week, attend monthly meetings about any problems that they may have and write simple monthly reports. They continue to need all the volunteers that they can get. Not applicable
SORP is a program that assists older refugees to access available services in their communities in order to facilitate prolonged independent living.
Services Provided include referrals to local resource: Housing, Nutrition Resources, Public Benefits, Social Support, Medical and Mental Health, Naturalization Assistance.
Who Qualifies: Refugees or Special Immigrant Visa holders (SIV's) who aer 60 years of age or older. Must have arrived within the past 5 years.
