Program Adolescent / Young Adult Programs:

Adolescent / Young Adult Programs

  • Description:

When it is time for extra help with a teen's alcohol or other drug problem, it is time for our Young Adult Program. The teen years are often filled with risk-taking behavior and peer pressure to make choices that may lead to alcohol and other drug use. This program helps young adults to learn about their alcohol or other drug use, how to have lifestyles that are free from all mood-altering substances, how to deal with peer pressure and improve self esteem, and how to have fun without the use of alcohol or other drugs. Family involvement is very strongly encouraged in this program, which also helps families to become knowledgeable about alcohol and other drug use, how to effectively deal with their family member's chemical abuse, and how to stay together as a family. This program features individual therapy once a week, group-therapy sessions twice weekly, and Family Day once a month.
