    Due to COVID-19, Job Corps centers have temporarily suspended on-center operations to protect the health of students. Distance learning programs at each center are now in progress, and students are encouraged to participate. Job Corps centers continue to provide support to their students during this period.     Provides intensive education GED programs, vocational training, and work experience in a residential setting for Federal Government Department of Labor Program for youths ages 16-24. Vocational training includes painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, nursing assistant, LPN, CUS pharmacy technician, and culinary arts. College preparation also offered. Cassadaga Job Corps Center, supports the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. JOB CORPS is the nation's largest free education and job training program for young adults. Eligibllity is determined by income base.

    Eligiblity:Applicants must meet one or more of these conditions: receives public assistance, earns poverty-level income, is homeless, is a foster child, or qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch. Your admissions representative will help you determine your eligibility. The student may not be eligible if they have certain criminal convictions or require court supervision. student does not use drugs illegally.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Documents:16 to 24-year-olds ready to work toward a successful future are welcome. The maximum age limit may be waived if the applicant is a person with a documented disability. For minors, a parent or guardian must sign a consent form.
