Social Security Information

  • Description:

    Social Security provides income for insured workers, and spouses, divorced spouses, children and surviving parents. SSI provides basic income (or additional income) to combine with Social Security, pension, or earnings. Individuals 65 or older, or any age if disabled or blind, whose income and resources are below threshold, may be entitled to this benefit. This includes disabled children of any age. Individuals who qualify for SSI automatically qualify for full Medicaid.
